Ambulance Fund Raising by Nadarajah
Sooriyajumar
After hearing about our charity, Nadarajah contacted us wondering how he could help us achieve one of our goals.
Nadarajah took on the challenge of walking 50km in the North of Wales Cotswold Way Challenge, which took place on June 22, 2024, to help raise funds for a new ambulance service for the palliative care hospice (Comfort Care Home) in Chavakachcheri, Sri Lanka. This ambulance will play a crucial role in transporting patients from hospitals to the hospice, ensuring they receive the care and comfort they deserve during their final days. This campaign is part of a bigger mission which contributes to our next project. As explained in our projects section, the land for the hospice has already been acquired, however the success of this fundraising effort helps bring us one step closer to our next of goal of making this ambulance service for Comfort Care Home a reality.
We are deeply grateful to all those who donated, supported, and spread word about the cause. Your generosity will help provide comfort to countless families in Sri Lanka during their most challenging times.
A heartfelt thank you to Nadarajah for his dedication and to everyone who contributed. Together we are making a lasting difference.
